Debut Author Jim Lindsey Nova Scotia

Our Debut Author is Jim Lindsey - a writer, actor, sailor, photographer, blues singer, Buddhist and Texan living in Nova Scotia. He’s been published in various literary magazines and his short short story “Message from the Thirteenth Floor” took first place in Saskatchewan’s annual literary competition. His first book, In Lieu of Mecca was runner-up for the United States Poetry Award. He’s been a reporter for three Texas papers including the Dallas Morning News.

He began studying Tibetan Buddhism in California where he lived on a sailboat and worked as a technical writer for major Silicon Valley companies. He moved to Nova Scotia in 1995 in search of a better lifestyle to the old fishing village of Prospect near Halifax, the provincial capitol. Author’s Newsroom.

He has an M. A. in Creative Writing from Boston University and was a fellow at the Provincetown Fine Arts Workshop on Cape Cod.

Published March 2011, The Flaw in the Fabric

In March 2011, Jim’s first novel “The Flaw in the Fabric, Book 1 of A Travellers Guide for Lost Souls” was published as an ebook by SeaStorm Press.
